Our verdict
AdLoop is built for people who run Google Ads and want their assistant to understand the whole funnel. It joins Ads clicks with GA4 sessions and conversions, audits Google Tag Manager against what GA4 actually records, and reads Search Console and PageSpeed data.
Its safety model is the standout. Every change is a draft and preview first, applying needs a separate confirmation, new campaigns start paused, and budget caps are enforced on the server. You can use the hosted AdLoop Cloud or run the open-source version yourself.
What it can do
- Reads Google Ads campaign, keyword, search-term, and ad performance
- Runs GA4 reports, including realtime, and lists tracking events
- Cross-references Ads clicks, GA4 sessions, and conversions per campaign and landing page
- Audits Google Tag Manager tags and triggers against codebase events and GA4 data
- Reads Search Console and PageSpeed Insights data
- Drafts campaigns, ads, keywords, and negatives through a draft, preview, and confirm workflow; new campaigns start paused
What it can’t do (yet)
- Google ecosystem only (Ads, GA4, GTM, Search Console, Merchant Center).
- Self-hosting needs your own Google Cloud project and a Google Ads developer token from a manager account.
- The hosted AdLoop Cloud is a beta with limited seats.
Who it’s for
A good fit for
- Businesses spending on Google Ads that want spend, tracking, and conversions explained together
- Anyone worried about an assistant changing a live ad account
Look elsewhere if
- Advertisers primarily on Meta, TikTok, or LinkedIn
